Our Mission
In 2014, Will Kevans published a graphic novel, My Life in Pieces - the Falklands War', about his experiences as a teenager fighting in the Falklands conflict. While carrying out research for the book, he made contact with Argentinian veterans via Facebook. This led to a dream of climbing Mont Blanc together but ultimately only one Argentinian was able to make the trip which took place in 2022.

Five British and six Argentinian Falklands veterans will embark on an ambitious mission to climb Aconcagua (Argentina), one of the highest peaks in the world, in January 2026. At nearly 7000 metres high, the twenty-day trek will challenge the men in personal endurance and teamwork. This is an opportunity for healing and reconciliation.

The expedition has been made possible with the help of Climb 2 Recovery, a charity that helps veterans rehabilitate through climbing, and The Invictus Games Foundation.
